It is now just over a month since the election and the amazing increase in voters for the Green Party.
The Cotswold Constituency currently comes under Stroud District Green Party. Following the Green Surge, and the increased 4.6% of the Cotswold Constituency vote which our candidate (Penny Burgess) received, there is now strong feeling and motivation to set up a Cotswold Constituency Party either as an off-shoot of Stroud or as a stand-alone.
All Green Party members and supporters in the Cotswold Constituency are therefore invited to a Green Party meeting and Social on Tuesday 23rd June at 7.30 at Fairford Community Centre. It will be an opportunity for like-minded people to chat and also to discuss the way forward. We are lucky that Callie, our Regional Development Worker, will be there to guide us.
There will be refreshments. If you can help by bringing cake or savouries that would be great.

NOTE: Fairford Community Centre is next to St Mary’s Church in the High Street above the Market Place and the Bull Hotel (GL7 4AF). Access is at the side. There is a free car park at the top of the High Street.
