Global Day of Action for Climate Justice: join vigil in Stroud on November 6

Stroud residents of all political persuasions will be joining a Vigil for the Planet on Saturday November 6 to mark the Global Day of Action for Climate Justice.

The event, from 12 noon until 12.30 on the corner of High Street and Kendrick Street, can be joined by anyone who is concerned about the lack of government action over the crisis and people are encouraged to bring banners and placards showing their feelings.

The event is being held to coincide with COP26, the United Nations’ climate change conference, which is taking place in Glasgow from October 31 to November 12.
