Kerri Tyler

Kerri works in communications for a Stroud-based community and conservation charity, which has been working alongside the canal development to protect biodiversity and preserve natural habitats.
She has a background in journalism and previously worked for the Australian Consumer Association, campaigning for fairness and accountability in marketing, health, finance and food standards.
As a former single parent who moved to Stroud from Shropshire with a new, blended family eight years ago, Kerri has personal experience of working several jobs to put food on the table. She’s a firm believer in social justice, investment in public services and sustainable energy, and a fairer tax system.
A train buff and commuter cyclist who only learned to drive in her mid-thirties, Kerri is also an advocate of affordable, sustainable short- and middle-distance travel.
