Green Councillors Meet for “Away Day” to Discuss Strategy

Green Party Councillors met on Sunday, 12 June at Days Cottage to discuss strategies for changing the world beginning with the Stroud District and Gloucestershire County! The group was larger in size this year thanks to the election victories of Catherine Braun in Wotton Under Edge, Jim Dewey in Coaley and Uley and Norman Kaye in Nailsworth. The day-long session included discussions about Green priorities in housing, community services, the environment as well as collaboration between the Stroud District Councillors and Sarah Lunnon who represents Stroud on the County Council. There was great energy, new ideas and enough sunshine to eat lunch under the apple trees.
