“Tracing Movements” is a new independent video project documenting the struggles of a number of different movements who are challenging Europe’s anti-immigration rhetoric and the “violent securitisation” of EU territories. It will be of interest to anyone who wants to understand better the injustices of the current status quo but also to those looking for lessons in the wider fight against the current surge in right-wing ideologies.
There will be a free film screening at Stroud Brewery on Sunday 8th November at 6pm, with an introduction from one of the film-makers and opportunity for discussion afterwards.
